Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 September 2026
This policy explains what we publish, what we collect, and how to have anything about you or your firm corrected or removed.
Who we are
Cyprus Tax Hub is an independent directory of licensed accounting firms in Cyprus, together with free tax calculators and guides. We are not affiliated with any professional body or government department. Contact: through our contact form.
What we publish about firms
We publish business information about accounting firms compiled from public sources: firm name, registration and licence numbers, business address, business telephone number, website, and the names and roles of people who hold registered positions at the firm in their professional capacity.
We do not publish email addresses, personal mobile numbers, or home addresses.
Legal basis
Firm-level information is company information rather than personal data. Where we name an individual in a professional role, we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR): there is a genuine public interest in being able to identify who is responsible for a regulated firm, and the information concerns a person acting in a business capacity rather than a private one.
You may object to this processing at any time. We act on objections without requiring you to justify them.
What we collect from visitors
- Analytics: aggregate, non-identifying page usage so we know which pages are useful.
- Enquiries: if you contact a firm through this site, we pass what you submit to that firm and retain a record so we can resolve disputes.
- Email: only if you ask us to send you something. Requesting a document does not sign you up for marketing; that requires separate consent you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Use the contact form. We respond within 30 days, and act on listing removals within 72 hours. You may also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
Removing your listing
Any firm may have its listing corrected or removed, free of charge, whether or not it has claimed a profile. See Correct or remove a listing.
Retention and changes
Directory records are kept while the firm is licensed. Enquiry records are kept for two years. If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above.
