About

Our data

Two different kinds of information sit on this site: details of licensed firms and professionals, and guidance about Cyprus tax. They are held to different standards and this page explains both.

Firm and professional listings

Firm details are compiled from public sources and presented as a directory. We publish information about firms in their professional capacity, and the names of registered officers in the professional roles they hold. That is the same category of information a firm puts on its own letterhead.

What we deliberately do not publish

  • Email addresses. Publishing them hands every scraper on the internet a working mailbox
  • Personal mobile numbers
  • Home or residential addresses
  • Dates of birth, identification numbers, or anything similar

Office phone numbers are shown behind a click rather than printed in the page source, for the same reason.

Accuracy, and its limits

A directory is a snapshot. Firms merge, move, change name and change licence status, and there is always a lag between something changing and us reflecting it. Do not treat a listing here as proof of current licence status. If that matters to you, and for anything involving an engagement it should, confirm it with the firm directly.

Corrections and removal

Both are free, for every firm, whether or not the profile has been claimed. We act on requests within 72 hours and we never ask for payment to fix wrong data or to take a listing down.

Removal requests are honoured without argument. We would rather carry an accurate directory that firms are content to be in than a complete one they are not.

Tax guides and calculators

Everything here traces to a primary source. Every guide lists the official documents and legislation it rests on, at the foot of the page, with a link to each one. We summarise and explain those sources; we do not replace them.

Why dates matter more than usual right now

The 2026 Cyprus tax reform changed a number of headline figures. A great deal of what is written about Cyprus tax online, including material published by otherwise reliable organisations, still states the pre-reform numbers. So every guide on this site carries the tax year it applies to and thedate its figures were last checked, and every figure in the text is dated where the date changes the answer.

Where we have not yet verified a guide's figures against a primary source, the guide says so at the top rather than staying quiet about it.

When we get it wrong

We have, and we will again. Corrections are made to the live page as soon as we have checked the point, not batched or quietly folded into a later rewrite. If you have found an error, tell us and cite the source you are relying on. We would rather be corrected than consistent.

This is not advice

Nothing here is tax, legal or financial advice, and listing a firm is not a recommendation of it. The calculators are estimates built from published rates and thresholds; they do not know your circumstances. For anything that matters, have it confirmed by a firm licensed to advise in Cyprus.

Independence

Cyprus Tax Hub is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus, the Cyprus Tax Department, the Ministry of Finance, the Department of Lands and Surveys, the Registrar of Companies, CySEC, or any other professional body or government department.

How listings are ordered is set out separately in how we rank.
