How We Rank and What We Publish

Every firm on this site appears because it is licensed to practise in Cyprus. This page explains exactly how that works, and it is linked from every ranked list on the site.

Where the data comes from

Firm names, registration numbers, addresses and licence status are compiled from public sources and refreshed regularly.

We currently list 785 accounting firms and 1392 licensed accountants, the complete register, not a selection.

How listings are ordered

Listings are ordered alphabetically. Where we publish a ranked list, it is ranked only on criteria that are stated on the page itself, such as:

Licences held, practising, statutory audit, ASP, insolvency
Number of ICPAC-licensed accountants at the firm
Years since incorporation
Languages served and stated specialisms
Response time to enquiries sent through this site

What money cannot buy

A firm can pay to claim its profile, add its own content, and enable a direct enquiry form. Payment never affects:

Ranking position, anywhere on this site
Whether a firm is listed at all
The accuracy of any factual data we hold
Which firms appear in search results or filters

Sponsorship, where it exists, is always visibly labelled as sponsorship and sits alongside results rather than changing them. If we ever cannot honour that, we will stop selling sponsorship rather than quietly compromise it.

Claimed and unclaimed profiles

An unclaimed profile shows the same verified factual data as a claimed one — the same registration details, licences, address, phone, email and website. Claiming adds a description, logo, services, team and an enquiry form. We do not hide or degrade factual data to encourage claims.

Corrections

Correcting wrong information is always free, whether or not a firm has claimed its profile, and we act on removal requests within 72 hours without argument. Request a correction or removal.
